The IET Brunei Darussalam Network will have a technical visit on 1st May 2009 to the Royal Brunei Air Force located at Rimba Air Base. The Royal Brunei Air Force was established in 1965. The roles of the Royal Brunei Air Force are the defence of national airspace, air survelliance of national land and maritime borders, air support for land defence, maritime defence and national tasks. The visit will enable IET members to learn more about the different types of aircraft and engineering in the air force to carry out its multi-roles.
