The IET Brunei Network conducted a
course on the new IEE 17th Edition
Wiring Regulations (BS7671) on 21-23
July 2009 at the Rizquin International
Hotel. The 3-day course is to provide
updates and for the participants to be
conversant with the content of the
BS7671 and harmonisation with IEC 60364
especially the changes in this new IEE
17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
which came into effect from 1st July
2008.
The course had a total of 28
participants consisting of consultants,
lecturers, engineers from the DST,
technical colleges, BPMC, DCA,
consultants, MINDEF and M&E Department
PWD. The course received good feedback
from the participants who also stated
that they look forward to future such
courses. This course is part of the IET
Brunei Network contribution towards
awareness of the changes in the IEE 17th
Edition Wiring Regulations. IET Brunei
Network is also dedicated towards
promoting the status of chartered
engineers and engineering
professionalism in the country.
